Fast Networks, Fast Farmers
DataCC builds systems that provide point to point or point to multipoint connections by coupling your workstation or network to the Internet backbone. This is accomplished by proven technology that merges 2.4 Ghz radio transmissions from your on-site antenna and PC card to a centrally located tower with a direct tap to the Internet provider.
The dreaded "last mile" has been conquered!--allowing the efficiency and cost effectiveness to work for you instead of against you.
Telephone company technology uses T1 lines and dial-up modems utilizing the available standard telephone lines. Dial-up modems are often the only option for many parts of the country, though their primary disadvantage is their connection speed. These modems transmit and receive data over telephone lines originally designed for voice communication and, because of this, are limited to top speeds of 56 Kbps. By far the fastest telco option, and the most expensive, is the T1 line, whose connection rate is 1.5 Mbps.
Digital Subscriber lines and ISDN connections are rarely available in the rural areas of Nebraska. Wireless connectivity, now with proven technology has become the choice of many users, even in areas that offer the more expensive hard wire solutions.
Always-on and never tying up your phone lines, wireless connections use your computers' capabilities to transmit and receive data using a small antenna affixed to your home or business and a powerful high frequency antenna, centrally located and as high as possible. With our famous Nebraska landscape, the needed line of sight between antennas is usually easily accomplished. You will need to request a free site survey to assure that your location will qualify for the quality of service you desire. |
